Why “Assemblies of God”? Who are they?

What do they teach? What are their practices?

The Assemblies of God are the faithful continuation of the Christian Churches (the Greek word “ecclesia”means: assembly) of the apostolic times as described in the Bible.

Therefore, one cannot say that it is a “new religion” or assimilate it to “sects” whose teachings are contrary to the Bible truth.

The Assemblies of God are present world wide and have in their fold men and women of all races, all colours and all social conditions. Their members are exposed to the living faith by the preaching of the Full Gospel which is accompanied by signs and wonders wrought by the power of the Holy Spirit; they form a Christian family where many can rediscover the Christianity of apostolic times in all its spontaneity, power and effectiveness.

The Assemblies of God have no human founder, and accept only one book as authority in matters of faith: the Bible, the Inspired Word of God.

To know exactly what they believe and what are their practices, one has only to read the New Testament (the 2nd part of the Bible), in any edition.
